Abstract. P. Delforge.- Orchids of the islands of Milos, Kimolos, and Polyaigos (south-western Kyklades, Greece) [Natural. belges 83 (Orchid. 15) (2002): 67-120). Research in Milos, Kimolos and Polyaigos has revealed respectively 35, 19, and 5 orchid species for these 3 islands. On Milos, the genus Ophrys is represented by 17 species: O. ariadnae, O. attica, O. bombyliflora, O. cretica, O. ferrum-equinum, an O. fusca s.l. early-flowering, O. gortynia, O. heldreichii, O. iricolor, O. mammosa, O. omegaifera, O. phryganae, O. scolopax, O. sicula, O. sitiaca, O. speculum, and O. tenthredinifera. Other orchid species observed on Milos are Anacamptis pyramidalis, Dactylorhiza romana, Himantoglossum robertianum, Limodorum abortivum, Orchis collina, O. fragrans, O. intacta, O. italica, O. papilionacea, O. sancta, Serapias bergonii, S. carica, S. lingua, S. orientalis, S. parviflora, S. politisii, S. vomeracea and Spiranthes spiralis. On Kimolos, the genus Ophrys is represented by 6 species: O. ferrum-equinum, O. omegaifera, O. scolopax, O. sicula, O. tenthredinifera, and O. thesei. Other orchid species observed on Kimolos are Anacamptis pyramidalis, Himantoglossum robertianum, Limodorum abortivum, Orchis collina, O. fragrans, O. intacta, O. papilionacea, O. sancta, Serapias bergonii, S. carica, S. orientalis, S. parviflora, and S. vomeracea.  The orchid species observed on Polyaigos are Limodorum abortivum, Orchis fragrans, O. papilionacea, Serapias bergonii, and S. carica.  Four interspecific hybrids have also been found. A list of species for each island and 40 distribution maps are provided as well as a list of the 229 localities of Milos, 82 of Kimolos, and 10 of Polyaigos, prospected during April 1998.
