Abstract. Delforge, P & Gˇvaudan, A.- New data on the repartition of Ophrys aegirtica P. Delforge in France [Natural. belges 79 (Orchid. 11) (1998): 81-98]. Described in november 1996, Ophrys aegirtica, a late flowering O. fuciflora with large flowers, was considered as an endemic of South-West of France departments of Gers (32), Haute‑Garonne (31) and Hautes‑Pyrˇnˇes (65). Research in 1997 and 1998 in the South-East of France has revealed the presence of O. aegirtica in the Riviera: department Var (83), and in the lower Rhone basin: departments Dr™me (26) and Vaucluse (84). The demonstration of the identity of those different populations with O. aegirtica is made. A list of 9 new localities from South-East of France is given as well as a commented list of localities where the presence of O. fuciflora is confirmed.
