Abstract. Saintenoy-Simon, J., Duvigneaud, J. & Oultremont, O. d'.- Destruction of an Anacamptis pyramidalis station, Orchid protected by law [Natural. belges 78 (Orchid. 10) (1997): 75-80].  A large station of Anacamptis pyramidalis (L.) L.C.M. Rich. (400 to 500 plants) was discovered in 1995 in Pont-de-Bonne (Modave, Belgium), in an abandoned quarry. It has been completely destroyed on July 24th, 1996, when a bulldozer razed it. Comments are made about that destruction.
