Abstract. P. Delforge.- Observations on the Orchids of the south-east of Laconia (Peloponissos, Greece) [Natural. belges 77 (Orchid. 9) (1996): 119-136]. Observations in the south-east of Laconia (south part of the Kymeria plateau and peninsula of Monemvassia-Malea) produced 41 species and 6 hybrids in all. With the present new systematic views, they revealed at least 13 orchid species not yet indicated in that poorly prospected area: Cephalanthera damasonium, Ophrys attaviria, O. bilunulata, and O. funerea (3 members of the O. fusca sub‑group), O. lutea, O. melena, and O. phryganae (3 members of the O. lutea sub‑group), O. bombyliflora, O. reinholdii, Orchis italica, O. lactea, O. tridentata. A discussion of the status of some taxa is made and a list of 82 localities prospected in 1992 and 1993 is provided.
