Abstract. P. Delforge.- Remarks on some occasionally arachnitiform Ophrys and new data for the distribution of Ophrys castellana in Spain (Orchidaceae) [Natural. belges (Orchid. 7) 75 (1994): 171-186]. Critical examination of the literature and new observations in 1992, 1993 and 1994 have allowed to add 11 new sites to the distribution of Ophrys castellana, with first mentions in Cantabria, Navarra, La Rioja and Province of Burgos (Castilla-Le—n, Spain). The status of Spanish arachnitiform Ophrys is discussed. A special attention is drawn to Ophrys passionis, an overlooked species from Spain and France. A list of new localities is given for O. castellana and O. passionis.
