Abstract. J. Devillers-Tesrchuren & P. Devillers.- Ophrys annae, a Sardinian species of the Ophrys episcopalis group [Natural. belges (Orchid. 5) 73 (1992).- 109-112]. The Sardinian orchid usually known as "O. holoserica", and mostly characteristic of calcareous terrains in the north-west of the island, is described as a new species, O. annae, considered as a western representative of the predominantly east Mediterranean O. episcopalis group.
